Friends! Blogging can be so funny. Sometimes, I find myself passionately writing something because I know it will bring a smile to someone. Other times, I think “oh! that would be good to write about since it’s the fall season, and that’s a fall thing…” Which brings us to today.
I had a weekend full of wanting to make the most delicious fall recipes to share! Thank the good Lord my rent does not depend on my ability to cook / bake / do anything in the kitchen!! I have miserably failed the food blog world.
I had an honest moment with myself. “I’m just not cut out for this.” I thought…”I really can’t continue doing this, humanity will hate me.”
I also realized, I don’t like pumpkin. I love “pumpkin” coffee drinks from Starbucks, and “pumpkin” pie…but the flavor of pumpkin is not strong in either of those!
I put real pumpkin in a few different smoothies, and no way, it’s not for me. So, with that being said…here is a pumpkin smoothie bowl recipe that I made and hated. But, I figured I would share anyways to provide for some laughter, and hopefully inspiration for a real chef out there 😉
**PS – if you try this and make it yummy please let me know what to do**
- Pumpkin Spice Smoothie Bowl
- 1 packet of Shakeology protein powder
- 1/2 frozen banana
- 1/4 cup frozen cauliflower
- 1/2 cup half and half
- 1 powerful blender (mine isn’t, so this didn’t go well)
- a couple scoops of pumpkin
- a couple spoon fulls of your preferred sweetener
Blend it all together and put your favorite granola and whip cream on top. (This was my favorite part!)
