Google Calendar – Most schools in the U.S. are using Google Education as their email platform. This means you have free unlimited storage and access to Google apps with your student email! Google Calendar is a life saver. Add your class schedule, dinner dates, homework sessions, and even reminders to “sign off” at midnight!
Quizlet – The ultimate memorization tool! Not all of my courses are memorization based, but every few sessions I have a course that is quiz heavy. I use the website to build my flashcards, and then the mobile app to quickly go over terms to memorize while waiting in line at the grocery store, or in between work emails.
Chegg – This site isn’t just for textbooks! I am a newer Chegg user, but so far I love everything about it. From the online tutors, e-textbooks, homework help, and little goodies they send you. It is the perfect student companion.
Zotero – Zotero is your research assistant! It is a database that will store all of your citations, articles, and journals that you find. PLUS it can help you format for Chicago, MLA, and APA (and others too)!
ibotta – As graduate students, we are always looking for the best deals around. Ibotta can get you cash back on your normal weekly purchases! Groceries, toiletries, and other fun in store and online sales! Use the link (affiliated) to support my blog, and to get instant cash on your app!
